March 24-26 - Computer Classes will be offered by the Carroll County Extension office in Carrollton during March and April. Each class is a 3 hour class. Take one or more than one, but we must have at least 6 people per class! The fee for each class is $10. Computers will be provided by the instructor, John Giesemann. Word Processing 9am —Noon Learn word processing basics, including how to open and save documents, format documents, and copy and paste into documents.
Advanced Graphics 1-4 pm Learn how to insert pictures and graphics into a word document and modify them.
Friday, March 26:
Digital Camera 9 am—Noon Learn how to get more from your digital camera. Tips for selecting a digital camera will also be covered. Bring your camera, manual and all cords and accessories.
Adobe Photo Shop 1-4 pm Learn how to crop and edit pictures made with your digital camera. Bring your camera, manual and all cords and accessories.
March 30 – Yard and Garden Update – Growing and Using Herbs with Lelia Kelly and What’s Growing in Your Vegetable Garden with David Nagel. For more information or to make reservations, call 662-237-4413.
March 31 – Timber Market Outlook– Noon to 1 pm, at the Carroll County Extension office, 105-B East Washington Street, Carrollton. To successfully market timber, landowners must understand current price trends. In this lunch-and-learn program, Dr. James Henderson of Mississippi State University will discuss current price trends for pine and hardwood timber and related products.
